‘Afro Voices’ is an essential vocal collection that will help you enhance your tracks dramatically!
Recorded exclusively by Sofiya Nzau for Function Loops (using her name without permission is prohibited).
Sofiya Nzau is a singer, songwriter and story teller based in Kenya. She tells her stories inspired by love, African culture, spirituality, social activities and daily hustle using her native language “Kikuyu”. The Kikuyus are part of the Bantus.
This amazing pack can be used to produce House, Downtempo, Techno, Amapiano, EDM, Trance and mainly any other genre where African vocal presence is needed.
What do you do when you’ve made a hit with a Splice vocal? zerb used a vocal from Splice to make Mwaki, which is sung by Sofiya Nzau. This vocal has now been removed from Splice, very interesting?.
Yes, anyone may contact the creator of the sample to EXCLUSIVELY license the stuff (sample/vocal) only for him IN any FUTURE PURCHASES. (if the creator agrees, of course)
so its removed from anywhere.
I’m a function Loops big fan. And I’m Happy to hear Hits from their samples. I think it’s normal because they sell samples and if someone wants only for him because its the creator yes i think it’s normal. This is My opinion. Good job
Question: if you already owned this particular sample, can it still be used 100% royalty free in your own productions?
I have the same doubt. I bought the Afro voices pack and I’m working with the Mwaki sample. What happens in this case?
Everyone who bought the sample still has the rights to use it. The issue is youtube and soundcloud which we can’t control, due to size of Zerb’s record.
